'Will Lead Country To Safety, Security And Peace' Says Donald Trump After Accepting Nomination: Highlights

Cleveland, United States: In an appeal to anxious voters, Donald Trump is pledging Thursday night that "safety will be restored" if he is elected president, using his Republican convention address to denounce Democrat Hillary Clinton as part of a political class causing the nation's troubles.He formally accepted the Republican Party nomination for president.

'Will Put America First'

On Obama Administration

• Our manufacturing trade deficit has reached an all-time high - nearly $800 billion in a single year.
• The budget is no better. President Obama has doubled our national debt to more than $19 trillion, and growing.
