The village of Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu gave a tearful, emotional send-off to their much loved and respected son, APJ Abdul Kalam. Thousands of people from all walks of life were present as was the Prime Minister and a host of other dignitaries. Maya Sharma caught up with some family members of Dr Kalam, his friends from the scientific community and some who journeyed from far to pay their last respects.
