Senior NCP leader Praful Patel tells NDTV that his party is looking at the Maharashtra election results objectively and wants the largest party to form the government. As the results trickled in, he says, the NCP was getting a sense on the ground that there was a move for some sort of arrangement between the Congress, the Shiv Sena and the NCP, and the NCP wanted to put an end to it. He also says NCP's outside support to the BJP does not mean it subscribes to the party's position or is bending over backwards to accommodate BJP's concerns.
