No Name For President Yet: Congress After Sonia Gandhi-Team Modi Meet

Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu had a 30-minute meeting with Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to discuss the election of the next President. Asked if any consensus had emerged, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge -- who was present at the meeting along with Ghulam Nabi Azad - told NDTV, "When they have not given any names, there is no question of consensus". The two leaders, it appeared, had come to only to meet and seek cooperation, he said. "They said after they decide, we will discuss."
