Bandbaajaa.com presents the Bajirao Mastani inspired makeup tutorial in association with celebrity makeup artist Vidya Tikari.
The greatest inspiration for Indian weddings in terms of décor, ensembles, hair or makeup is Bollywood. Almost every Indian girl secretly idolizes her favorite actress and wishes to look the same on her D-day. And truly, some Bollywood looks are so alluring that replicating them on your big day can be a hit! One of them is Deepika Padukone's look in the song Mohe Rang Do Laal from Bajirao Mastani.
Even though Deepika's makeup in this look is very subtle but it is still perfect for the summer bride who is set to tie the knot in broad daylight. Vidya Tikari, the famous celebrity makeup artist from New Delhi, did an exclusive makeup tutorial replicating this look on blogger Aashna Malani.
The video was produced by Click Sutra in which Vidya focused on giving structure and definition to the model's face by contouring the nose and cheek bones. She used a foundation which wasn't completely matte to ensure that the final look is dewy. Keeping the eyes minimal, Vidya highlighted the high points of the face and finished off with a nude lipstick. In the end, the model looked completely similar to Deepika Padukone.
