India's 11th President APJ Abdul Kalam died on Monday evening at a hospital in Meghalaya
Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam died yesterday in Meghalaya where he had gone to address the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong.
Dr Kalam, 83, collapsed after a massive cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management in Shillong
Dr. Kalam has served as the 11th President of India.He won the 2002 presidential election and served from 25 July 2002 to 25 July 2007.
He was intimately involved in India's civilian space program and military missile development efforts. He thus came to be known as the Missile Man of India
Former President, top scientist, Bharat Ratna.... These are just some of the titles that come before the name of APJ Abdul Kalam.
