A beautiful wedding proposal makes for a wonderful moment and memory, for anybody watching as much as for the hopeful gent and his intended - the whole going down on one knee, promising each other the world, the surprise element. And because the Internet has turned what was once private into something of a spectator sport, you can watch this special proposal by an Illinois man and go "aww..."
A video currently doing the rounds on social media shows one of those grand proposals executed in front of the Cloud Gate sculpture in Chicago on Valentine's Day. For his big day, Gaurav Gadodia sought the help of Chai Town, an a capella group based out of Illinois.
The video, posted by Chai Town, shows them performing a rendition of Justin Timberlake's
Mirrors for Gaurav's unsuspecting future-bride, Madhuri Patel. You can see her grooving to the track when, out of nowhere, each member of the group holds out giant mirrors for her to look into.
Seconds later, you see Madhuri turn around, a look of disbelief on her face. There, on bended knee, is Gaurav with a ring in his hands. Of course she said yes.
