The six wedding guests dressed in identical dresses at a wedding in Sydney
The problem with mass-produced clothes is that you're likely to run into someone wearing the exact same clothes as you on the street, in the subway or if you're really unlucky, at work.
But what happened to Debbie Speranza from Sydney is perhaps the worst. Ms Speranza wore a blue, lacy dress to a wedding but was surprised to find five other women wearing the exact same dress. Safe to say the odds were not in their favour!
The identically-dressed women had a good laugh about it as they posed with the bride. Ms Speranza posted the photo to the dress manufacturer's Facebook page where it quickly went viral and has about 1,600 shares and 48,000 reactions in about three days.
Apart from the laughs, many women also shared similar stories on the post.
"I went to a wedding as someone's plus one and ended up with the same dress as the bridesmaids!!" shared a user.
Another woman wrote, "I almost wore my engagement dress to the wedding this weekend and another lady has the same dress!! Dodged that one."
"Has happened to me too, though we knew before the wedding and wore them anyway!!" said Rhonda Renfrey
"LOLOLOL formal dress nightmares," wrote Jenny J. Lee.
