It's been four years and a month since Prince William and Kate Middleton got married in a high-profile, much discussed and watched ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

A lot of people may have wanted to be at the wedding but, of course, not everyone was invited.

But in the age of Photoshop, you can be everywhere and at any time you want.

Comedienne and TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who goes by the handle @theellenshow on Instagram, shared a picture from the wedding. And you have to look twice to register the presence of an uninvited guest behind the bride and groom.

There's the gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge in her white gown, holding a bouquet of flowers. There's Prince William in his scarlet Irish Guards colonel's uniform. Behind Prince William, there's Prince Harry, his best man. Behind the Duchess of Cambridge, is her sister Pippa Middl... wait, where's Pippa? Looming behind the wedding couple in this version of the photo is the grinning presence of Ellen, all dressed up in tux and bow tie.

Ellen shared the picture on Instagram when it was still Thursday in America, captioning it as 'Happy #TBT' - Throwback Thursday is a popular excuse for celebs and non-celebs alike to resurrect blasts from the past. The picture has since been liked by over 3,72,000 people.

Ellen is Kate's 15th cousin, a book on the former Miss Middleton's ancestry by the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston revealed before the wedding. Ellen was notified about her royal connection in letter from the Genealogical Society and declared excitedly in her show, "I'm related to Kate! I'm definitely invited to the wedding now!" Well, she may have not been invited. But she has made sure she's in the picture, four years later.
