New Delhi: Two days after she went missing, Snapdeal employee Dipti Sarna called her father and said: "Papa, I have come, I am fine." After nearly 36 hours of uncertainty, the Sarnas were stunned and overjoyed.

The 24-year-old went missing on Wednesday evening on her way home from work. She was believed to have been kidnapped. Messages requesting help in searching for her were widely circulated on social media, along with her photo, and #HelpFindDipti became a top trend on twitter.

Today she called from Haryana's Panipat and told her family she was on a train to Delhi. She has said that after she took an auto, she was kidnapped by four persons who blindfolded her and drove around before dumping her.

Before her phone was switched off, she had spoken to a friend who heard her shouting at the driver about the route he was taking.

Dipti is back at her Ghaziabad home. Her father Narendra Sarna said she appeared a little dazed and in trauma, but was "physically fine."

After her first call - from a borrowed phone as her own seems to be missing - she kept in touch with her father to let him know her location. When she finally arrived at the Delhi railway station, she called and said: "Papa, I am standing here." Her bag is also missing.

Mr Sarna said: "She came and slept on my lap and we got her home."

A police officer said: "She is exhausted and she needs some rest after which a medical examination will take place. We will question her later."

Snapdeal said in a statement that it was thrilled that "our friend Dipti Sarna has been reunited with her family."
