PM Modi Working Hard To Make India A Developed Nation: Kalraj Mishra

"Modiji is working hard to develop micro and medium enterprises to generate employment," Mishra said

Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard to generate employment and transform India into a powerful and developed nation, Union Minister Kalraj Mishra said today.

"Modiji is working hard to develop micro, small and medium enterprises for generating huge employment and make India a mighty and developed nation," he said at the inaugural session of a two-day MSME convention in Bhopal today.

Claiming that growth in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector has made Japan and Germany developed nations, the Union MSME Minister said, "Under Modiji's strong leadership, the country is making tremendous progress."

Mr Mishra said Modi has launched a number of schemes like skill development, Start Up India, Stand Up India to generate employment and make the country a powerful economy in the world.

"Fifteen technology centres will be set up in the country with the help of the World Bank," he said. On the occasion, he also unveiled the plaque of one such centre that is set to come up at a cost of Rs 125 crore at Acharpur near Bhopal.

Mr Mishra praised Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for setting up a separate MSME department in the state. He, along with the Chief Minister also unveiled Madhya Pradesh's Start Up Policy.

Madhya Pradesh is the first state to have its own Start Up policy.

The minister expressed hope that Madhya Pradesh will become the role model for the country in promoting and generating MSME.

Union Ministers of State for MSME Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary and Giriraj Singh also lauded the Prime Minister saying India is scaling newer heights under Modi's leadership and special emphasis is being laid on generating employment.

Mr Chouhan said, "MSME is the key for development and instead of mass production, production by the masses (people) is needed for the overall growth of the country."

"The country is buzzing with development activities under the strong leadership of Mr Modi and Madhya Pradesh is playing an active role with all its might to fulfil the Prime Minister's dream," he claimed.

"Madhya Pradesh's growth rate is the highest in the country... The state, which was power starved a decade ago, now has surplus energy," Mr Chouhan said.
