Pilgrims To Golden Temple To Be Greeted By Musicians

Sukhbir Singh Badal (centre) said that main route to Golden Temple is being given a heritage look.

Amritsar: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Thursday said that all roads and routes approaching to Golden Temple will be beautified with a group of musicians playing melodious tunes depicting its history.

He said work to beautify main route was in progress on war footing level.

Mr Badal told reporters that main route to Golden Temple is being given a heritage look, even front elevation of all private buildings, either commercial or residential, were being changed on Government expenses.

He said that in the coming days pilgrims using the main route to Golden Temple would be greeted with water fountains besides a team of musicians will play melodious tunes depicting the history of the Golden temple and the holy city.

He said that special laser show and traditional Punjabi Marshal Arts would also be organized on roadside near Golden Temple and historic Jallianwalla Bagh.
