Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand government plans to develop the mineral-rich state as a power hub by 2019, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said while launching an electricity reforms programme Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (RAPDRP).

A joint venture by Jharkhand Electricity Board and NTPC will produce 4000 MW in Jamshedpur and the entire state will have electricity by 2019, Mr Das said after launching the Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme in Jamshedpur yesterday.
