Hindu Pilgrims From Pakistan To take Dip In Ganga

Haridwar: Around 180 Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan arrived in Haridwar on Sunday to take a holy dip in the Ganga during the ongoing Ardh Kumbh Mela and take part in the religious ceremonies at Sapt Sarovar in the city today.

A batch of 181 Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan's Sind province arrived in the city on Sunday evening to have a ritual bath in the Ganga during ongoing Ardh Kumbh Mela and attend the religious ceremonies to be held today at Sant Shadani Darbar at Sapt Sarovar under the supervision of its chief Pithadheeshwar Sant Yudhisthir Lal, Convenor of the darbar Sant Arjun Das said.

The Hindu devotees from Pakistan will attend the inaugural ceremony of the newly built Gangaghat at Sapt Sarovar besides taking a dip in the Ganga during the ongoing Ardh Kumbh Mela which will end formally on April 30.
