AAP Wants 'Delhi Model' Of Governance In BJP-Ruled Madhya Pradesh

AAP will launch a programme to make people aware of their rights and take up issues related to farmers.

Bhopal: Aam Aadmi Party today demanded cheap power, free medicines and water for the people of BJP- ruled Madhya Pradesh on the lines of facilities provided by the party government in Delhi.

"We demand cheap power, free medicines and water for the people of Madhya Pradesh the way it is being done for residents of Delhi," AAP's Madhya Pradesh Unit Joint In-charge Ratnesh Gupta told reporters.

Besides providing cheap power, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government is supplying 20,000 litres of free water per month and making available free treatment, medicines and diagnostic facilities at mohalla clinics (colony health centres) to the people in the national capital.

He said the AAP will launch a programme to make people aware of their rights and take up issues related to farmers.

"On the lines of Delhi, we are creating our organization in Madhya Pradesh also. We already have a network up to the Vidhan Sabha level and whatever shortcomings are there will be addressed soon."

The AAP leader termed the 'odd-even scheme' in Delhi a success and said it is being praised by the people. If needed, the car rationing plan should be implemented in Bhopal and Indore too, he said.
