New Delhi: The BJP has not taken any decision yet on who will become the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra and Haryana, senior BJP leader and Home Minister Rajnath Singh said today.

"So far we have not taken any decision on chief ministers of Maharashtra or Haryana," he said after a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Board in Delhi.

Mr Singh said this in response to reporters' queries on the sidelines of Indian Women Press Corps foundation day function, which he reached immediately after the Parliamentary Board meeting.

"I want to thank the people of Maharashtra and Haryana for reinforcing their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our strength has gone up," he said.

The party's Parliamentary Board has decided to send two observers each to Maharashtra and Haryana to decide on who will be the chief ministers in these states.
