New Delhi: Delhi and Gurgaon braced for massive traffic jams as unusually heavy rain came pouring down on Wednesday morning.

The Gurgaon police advised "patience and discipline" as traffic slowed down after the first burst of rain.

Social media was full of pictures of waterlogging and clogged roads, with cars slowing down to a crawl in many areas.
