It's a day to sleep in late, recover from the revelry of the night before and eventually head to brunch with family or a movie with friends. Sundays are just awesome, aren't they? Use it to introspect, pray, unwind, laze, shop, do chores, crib, bicker or even hate - but only if your Sunday is your own, to do with as you will. This one's for all those poor souls who have to work the dreaded Sunday shift.

1. On a Saturday night everyone's all:

2. And you end up being all:

3. You wake up early on Sunday morning but only after snoozing the alarm 10 times because you know what lies ahead of you.

4. At work, even copious amounts of coffee fail to keep you awake.

5. People who don't get it always ask what you actually do at work on a Sunday.

6. There is a point during the day when you wish the electricity or the internet would go off just so you would have a valid excuse to leave. Also, because smashing your computer in your head doesn't help much.

7. You spend "quality" with your friends by chatting or whatsapping with them, until you realize where you are.

8. The last one hour before home-time is spent staring at the clock. You also think there's a conspiracy going on against you because it just doesn't get to six o'clock.

9. It's almost always during the last half hour of work when you get frantic calls from your boss about things that "absolutely need to be done today".

10. So you calm yourself, be more productive than you were the entire day (or the entire work week) and finish the tasks within that half an hour. And then with a swift mail to your boss, you run out of the office for dear life, never to return again. Just kidding, you're so coming back.
