Dense Fog in Delhi, 30 Flights and 65 Trains Delayed

New Delhi: Delhi witnessed dense fog in the morning Wednesday that delayed 30 flights and at least 65 trains. Four other trains were cancelled.

An official of the Northern Railway said at least 57 trains coming to the city were running late, while eight trains departing from the national capital were rescheduled due to dense fog.

The Meteorological department said the visibility at 8.30 am was 150 metres and humidity 97 per cent.

The minimum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 5.3 degrees Celsius.

"There was a dense fog in the morning, but the day will be mainly clear," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 16.3 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday's minimum temperature settled at 6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the maximum was 16.3 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
