Lalu Prasad's RJD Fields 18 Candidates in Jharkhand

New Delhi: Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal, which is contesting the Jharkhand Assembly polls in alliance with Congress, today fielded 18 candidates for the elections.

Former minister Annapurna Devi from Koderma and senior leader Girinath Singh from Garhwa are among the prominent candidates fielded by the party.

Arun Mandal has been fielded from Rajmahal, while Ashok Maji is the party's candidate from Nala.

The others are Barun Yadav (Jarmundi), Surender Rawani (Sarath), Suresh Paswan (Deoghar), Sanjay Kumar Singh (Poreyahat), Sanjay Yadav (Godda), Manoj Kumar Chandra (Simaria), Janardhan Paswan (Chatra), Manoj Kumar (Rajdhanwar), Baldev Hazra (Jamua), Ram Chander Cherro (Manika), Vijay Ram (Latehar), Manoj Kumar (Chattarpur), Sanjay Yadav (Hussainabad) and Dharmendra Pratap Dev (Bhawanathpur).
